Patton’s FPX6000 allows Dante AV with 8 audio channels (transmit or receive) and 1 HDCP encryption support video channel (transmit or receive) to be simply integrated onto an existing Ethernet network backbone without the performance and administration concerns associated with audio and video over IP. Dante’s sub-microsecond audio and visual synchronization removes alignment issues. Dante AV transports audio and video with minimal deterministic latency by using a single network clock to keep the whole system in sync, regardless of the number of endpoints. In additional to high-performance Dante AV with audio/video-over-IP, the Patton FPX6000 IP Gateway has a slew of peripheral connectivity choices such as USB 2.0 and USB OTG for keyboard and mouse, infrared for remotes, and even serial signals for PTZ control and more… all over IP!
