Dante AV with 8 audio channels (transmit or receive) and 1 HDCP encryption support video channel (transmit or receive) may be simply plugged into an existing Ethernet network backbone without the performance and administration concerns that come with audio and video over IP, thanks to Patton’s FPX6000. Dante’s audio and visual synchronization is sub-microsecond, which removes alignment issues. Dante AV transports audio and video with minimal deterministic latency by using a single network clock to keep the whole system in sync, regardless of the number of endpoints. The Patton FPX6000 provides high-performance Dante AV with audio/video-over-IP, as well as peripheral connectivity options such as USB 2.0 and USB OTG for keyboard and mouse, infrared for remotes, and even serial signals for PTZ control… all over IP!
