The SN5540 is ideal for All-IP applications requiring the integration of legacy, non-replaceable analog equipment into a UCC environment. The SmartNode serves as a connection termination point toward the enterprise for pure All-IP networks, with an optimized Broadband connectivity termination for G.SHDSL, VDSL, ADSL, or Fiber SFP. All-in-one unit, the SN5540 serves as a VoIP Gateway, eSBC, Access Router, and QoS CPE. It may also perform network evaluation and analysis at the customer’s location, using Patton Cloud network monitoring to avoid, minimize, and fix network and voice quality issues.
