Mobotix M16B Thermal Camera with Thermal Radiometry
The Mobotix M16B has a calibrated thermal image sensor that detects if temperatures increase or decrease below the set trigger levels. Users can set a series of events such as setting off an alarm or sending out a network message if anything outside of the norm triggers the M16.
Mobotix M16B Thermal Camera with TR Overview
The M16B works great in scenerios where smoldering fires can occur and are not visible to the naked eye. The M16B TR Camera can measure temperatures with +/-10 Kelvin accuracy.
The M16B TR Camera has a germanium lens and protectice screen cover. Because standard glass deflects thermal radiation. That being said the M16B cannot detect temperature chnages if there is a glass pane between teh camera and the object to be measured. However, a second image sensor can be used if placed inside the glass with no sepraton from the object to be detected.
