Patton SN5541/8JO8V/EUI SmartNode 5540 eSBC Overview

The SN5540 is ideal for All-IP applications requiring the integration of legacy, non-replaceable analog equipment into a UCC environment. The SmartNode serves as a connection termination point toward the enterprise for pure All-IP networks, with an optimized Broadband connectivity termination for G.SHDSL, VDSL, ADSL, or Fiber SFP. The SN5540 will be the service demarcation point for SIP Trunk service providers, with the local administrator restricted to only changing configuration settings facing the LAN IP PBX, thanks to the separate config domain function. All-in-one unit, the SN5540 serves as a VoIP Gateway, eSBC, Access Router, and QoS CPE.
